Steel Drummer Nate’s history spans over 30 years of professional quality entertainment ranging for R&B [Rhythm and Blues] such as Motown and Soul music, as a vocalist and musician, traditional Blues vocals and guitar as solo or as part of a steel drum band in Los Angeles area. Jazz as a vocalist and flutist. And today you can expect to hear some influence of any of the above with the same energy and soul produced over the years when you hire his band.

Solo Drummer or Steel Drum Band

Steel Drummer Nate can perform as a one man Band; featuring the steel drum, vocals with light backing tracks and the flute for a colorful change in mood as a soloist. As a duo you can have a choice of a guitar acoustic or electric who also sings. A percussionist playing congas, bongo and shakers. The trio would be all the above.

Other band choices could include a rhythm section of drums, election bass and piano, acoustic or electric with Nate as the band leader. Normal performance times are 3 hours with two 15 minute breaks. Whichever size band you choose will be self contained. The band has its own professional sound system with microphones that can also be used for announcements.

When needed as Master of Ceremony [ M.C.] to make your announcements for you and control events such as weddings and Corporate events, this service is also available. No special electrical power is needed only normal home current will work. Space requirements vary from venue and agreements can be worked out in advance.

When possible advance scheduling is best, however he is willing to consider some last minute engagements. The normal travel range would be mostly southern California from Santa Barbara to San Diego and the Palm Springs, Palm desert areas. Long distance is possible since he has performed in Europe and Japan.
